Got My ASS CHEWED!
Written by Wiggy on October 29, 2010 – 7:53 am -Holy cow…I was *so* not expecting that! I mean, I just got ripped a new one!
Ok, so here is what happened…
Yesterday evening, I’m talking to a buddy of mine. This guy is a full-time marketer, and *really* knows his stuff. As in this guy spends more on cigars and fine whiskey than I make in a month. The dude is smart.
Anyway, he’s on my newsletter list (told you he was smart – LOL), and he saw the one I sent out the other day about how I was raising the price on Body Armor this coming Monday…as in just a few days from now.
So, wanting to know my plan (we’re good friends, plus he’s nosy like that), he calls me up to find out why. And I proceed to tell him what I’ve got coming down the pike and how I plan on going about it. And in turn, why it had to lead to a price increase.
He sits there, patiently listening to me, quietly.
(I knew he was thinking and rolling it all around in his mind.)
I finish up, and ask him what he thinks, excited to hear what he thinks about my grand plan. What are the first words out of his mouth?
“You’re a f@cking idiot.”
Yeah…now THAT is the encouragement I was looking for.
*face palm*
He goes onto tell me that raising the price on Body Armor is a dumb idea…which I think is crazy, as he’s been telling me forever that I needed to charge more! After all, how many other muscle building workouts:
-are 12-weeks long
-get you stronger, increase power, and more explosive…all at the same time, and all with one set/rep scheme (no more doing the same exercise 2-3x in one week to get all the different kind of work in)
-give you the flexibility of picking most of your own exercises
-have you do intense conditioning to keep you lean
-include not only the strength & size stuff, but also specific pre-hab exercises to keep you healthy and bodyweight movements to keep you athletic
-are some 30-40 bucks CHEAPER than most of all the other comparable programs out there (which aren’t as good)
Yeah…none of them. He’s been telling me since Day 1 I was nuts for not charging a minimum of $67 (he actually said more). Now I finally take his advice, and I’m an idiot? What gives?
Then he laid a bomb on me. He says:
“You’re an idiot for keeping the product on the market. Come November 1st, that has to come off the shelves, pronto.”
He then goes into a bunch of reasons why…and I gotta admit, he was pretty convincing.
So now I don’t know WHAT I’m gotta do. Got a ton of thinking and planning to do this weekend – I know that.
But here’s the punchline for you – if you don’t have your own copy of Body Armor, you damn well better =>CLICK HERE and get your hot little hands on it before Monday. Because if you don’t, the best case scenario is when you finally decide to catch up to everybody else and get a copy, it’s gonna cost you a lot more cashola than it does now.
Worst case scenario is that after Monday, well, it doesn’t matter how much coin you try to throw down – you’re never gonna get a chance to get it.
So here’s what you should do – click on the link below, get your copy of Body Armor while it’s still cheap and available, and then not have to worry about what happens…you’ll be set either way.

Price Goes Up Monday
Written by Wiggy on October 27, 2010 – 7:27 am -Got some good news, some bad news, and some more good news for you.
First, some good news – been doing some planning, testing, business restructuring, and a bunch of other stuff like that, and there is gonna be A LOT of really cool, bitchin’ stuff coming you way in the not too distant future.
(And a whole bunch of it is gonna be absolutely free!)
Now, some bad news – it’s gonna mean I have to increase my prices on the products I sell. Yeah, that sucks – I know. But it’s gotta happen.
And now for more good news – the price increases ain’t gonna happen across the board, and not right away. So, if there’s some of my stuff you’ve been wanting, but haven’t gotten it yet, you’ve got a little bit of time.
BUT – there is a deadline here.
The first product that gets the price hike is my set of muscle building programs “Body Armor”.
Deal is this: this Monday, 01-Nov-10, the price goes up. Not sure how much yet, but it’s going up.
So, if you haven’t gotten Body Armor yet, and wanna get it before the price increase, then you need to do it now.
(Unless, that is, you *want* to spend more money…which is totally up to you. Just sayin’…)

Goin’ All Around the World…
Written by Wiggy on October 20, 2010 – 8:15 am -They say that if you want to be truly “well-rounded”, you need to have exposure to a lot of different things. You know, different kinds of music, art, different cuisine, others’ cultures, and the like.
In fact, they say that the most well-rounded folks are those that have traveled the world, b/c they can see things from the perspective of others and not just themselves. They get well-rounded because they have expose themselves to all these different stimuli.
Now, I don’t know how I feel about being well-rounded in that respect, but I understand the principle that’s at play. The more you expose yourself to, the more you can take advantage of, and the more you can broaden your knowledge, insights, capabilities, and all that other kinda stuff.
Believe it or not, your muscle building workouts are the same way.
The whole idea that you can target every muscle group in the body w/just a few select exercises is just kinda stupid.
I mean, I’m a huge proponent of compound exercises b/c of the fact that they target more than one muscle group at a time. But that doesn’t mean you can just toss a couple out there, check off each muscle that gets used (as if your body were just a checklist), and think that’s all you have to do.
Can certain muscles get adequate work from exercise that don’t target them directly? Sure, in some cases. Take the triceps – they get a ton of work from bench presses, dips, and the like.
But to say that the biceps get enough (albeit indirect) work from having to hold onto the bar while doing heavy deadlifts or heavy barbell shrugs is just kinda stupid, IMO.
(Don’t laugh – I’ve actually seen strength coaches say this.)
Does that mean you have to hit every muscle group with 14 different exercises? Hell no – that’s taking things to the opposite end of the spectrum and going overboard.
You should, however, strive to do a balanced program that involves vertical pushing and pull, horizontal pushing and pull, quad and hip based lower body moves, as well as some isolation stuff for the arms, shoulders, and the like.
A well-rounded program will result in a well-rounded physique.
This is why I included so much of this in “Body Armor”.
All these exercises are all done at one time, and they are cycled throughout the duration of the program, but they are all included.
(And to help you make the program more “your own”, as well as give you some “say so” in your workouts, I even designed it so that you can choose a good majority of what exercises you want to perform!)
Sound like a good plan to you? Why don’t you go read some more about Body Armor…like how you can not only put on muscular size, but develop strength & explosiveness at the same time, do power-conditioning to keep yourself lean while still being athletic, and a whole lot more.

5 Minutes Can Make *All* The Difference
Written by Wiggy on October 8, 2010 – 8:03 am -So a good friend of mine and I are talking business yesterday morning. He’s going to be opening up some bootcamp classes at his gym, and we were talking shop. You know – types of workouts, client getting strategies, and the like.
One of the things we discussed was timing of the classes. See he’s gonna offer an early AM class, and we were going over the pros and cons of different times he could hold it. One of the things I mentioned that was pretty crucial was to make sure that the class was done early enough, so that people could get back home, showered, dressed, and back out the door to work.
But we weren’t sure what the best time for that was.
My suggestion to him was to go out and drive around town early in the morning to see what traffic is like. I mean many of y’all know what it’s like – morning rush hour, school buses, etc. Sometimes literally five minutes can mean all the difference in the world.
(I know it used to back when I had a ’9-to-5′. If I was outta the house at 7am or 7:10, I could get to work 20 mins early. If I waited until 7:15, I was generally 10 mins late b/c I had to deal w/all that crap.)
Just goes to show that a tiny change can still have a MASSIVE effect on your results.
Your muscle building workouts are the same way.
Now, it’s no secret that I like workouts that allow you to get a lot of different things at once. My workouts in “Body Armor” are the same way.
See, for the longest time, if you wanted to improve your strength, explosiveness, and add muscle, you had to do long-term linear periodization. These programs focused on one thing at a time, doing it for a few months before moving onto the next phase. It was uncommon for an entire program to have to last 1-2 years or longer.
Then conjugate and concurrent periodization became popularized (especially in powerlifting circles), meaning – depending on how you setup your programs – you’d do more than one style of training at a time. This was good, but the problem was that to do this, you’d have to do all your major lifts multiple times per week.
I decided that there had to be a way to get stronger, become more explosive, and add muscle mass all at the same time – thus I created Body Armor.
In Body Armor, you do a style of training that mixes just the right amount of heavy weight, speed, and volume, so that you get the ‘best of all worlds’.
Thing is, is that you’ve gotta do this kinda thing *just right*, or else you risk goobering up the entire process.
Too heavy, and you can’t lift fast enough. Too much volume and you fatigue too quick. Too light and you don’t build strength.
And it doesn’t take much to really skew things all outta whack…
…just like leaving 5 mins late can make your morning commute take half an hour longer than usual.
So why leave things to chance, and risk a slight tweak goof things up? I mean, I’ve already done all the hard stuff and figured it all out for you…

If They Can Do It, Why Can’t You?
Written by Wiggy on October 4, 2010 – 8:10 pm -
I know lately I might have been coming on a little strong with the rants and such. Some folks have liked them, and if the hate-mail I’ve gotten is any evidence (LOL), some haven’t.
I’ve not tried to piss anybody off or hurt anybody’s feelings – just have tried to get y’all to use your heads, be motivated, realize how awesome life is and can be, and that it is you who are truly responsible for your out well-being and life’s outcome. Whatever you wanna do, if you want it bad enough, you can figure out a way to make it happen.
At the same time, while it’s gotten pretty good reviews from most folks, there are a few of y’all out there that aren’t convinced that my muscle building workouts “Body Armor” are the ‘real deal’. Some seem to think that I’m just in the strength & conditioning game for the money (if you saw my bank account, you’d know what a joke that was
.
Well, I’m about to address both – and just like how I like to put together super-efficient training programs that get a lot done at once, I’m gonna address both at the same time.
Meet my friends Mick & Colleen Cutts. I met Mick & Colleen via Facebook. They are from Australia, and own Mick & Colleen’s Fitness Centre. Both are also competitive bodybuilders, who just started competing this past May.
Oh, and did I mention that Mick is 52 years old? (I’d tell you how old Colleen is, but we all know it’s not polite to mention a lady’s age in public. hehe)
I’ve traded emails with Mick a few times, and he used my Working Class Cardio to help prepare for a contest earlier this year. However, when I released Body Armor, Mick emailed me, telling me that he and Colleen were gonna use it – just as written (intense power-based conditioning and all) to prepare two different bodybuilding contests.
Their results? They both did two contests in September. First up was the ANB contest in which Colleen got 2nd place in the Grand Masters Figure competition, and Mick got 2nd in the Grand Masters Over 50 class. Then, just a couple weeks later, Mick scored 4th at the INBA NSW State competition, and Colleen won!
Massive congratulations to you both. Oh, and check this video of Mick doing a conditioning circuit, directly out of Body Armor.
So much for age slowing you down, and not being able to do what you wanna do, when you wanna do it. And I guess so much for Body Armor not being good for bodybuilding.
But lemme guess – there’s probably some of y’all out there thinking that Mick & Colleen are the “exception to the rule” or an out of the ordinary circumstance.
Enter John & Belinda Giggins. Like Mick and Colleen, John and Belinda are from Australia, and I met them, too, via Facebook. (What is it with you Aussie FBers, anyway? haha)
In their early 40s, both John and Belinda have been doing the workouts straight out of Body Armor for months. Almost every single day I see a post from John (and often Belinda) about his workout in the wee hours of the morning, having the hard work for the day done before he goes off to have his fuel for the day (breakfast).
Now, while I would like to say that they’re doing the Body Armor workouts strictly as written…I can’t. I know for a FACT that there was at least one workout in which Belinda was supposed to run hill sprints, and she didn’t – she just ran normal sprints…no hill (evidently there just wasn’t one within a decent distance for that specific workout). I cut them some slack, though – because while she might not have run hill sprints, she DID tow a sled behind her to make up for it…guess that’s why her squat max went up roughly 45 lbs in 2 months, huh?
And I also have it on good authority that in his spare time – for fun – John likes to flip tires, and go buy big, rusty axles and wheels to lift in his backyard.
How’s that for dedication?
Here’s the thing people – as awesome as Mick, Colleen, John & Belinda are, and as proud of them for kicking ass as they have…none of them are anything ‘special’. None of them are more than just regular folks. Just like you. Just like me.
The difference is that each and every one of them decided they didn’t want to be ordinary. They decided to bust their asses, work hard, be disciplined, put the time and effort in when others weren’t and wouldn’t…and all of them are older than most of the folks reading this right now.
If they can do it…why can’t you? Got a reason?
I know that while all of them have thanked me for the workouts I put together in Body Armor, truth is that I should be thanking them – as when I have times that I’m tired, worn out, feeling lazy, or simply just don’t want to work out, I think about my Aussie friends half a world away, kicking ass and taking names when nobody is watching, and at ages that make me look like a young “whipper snapper”. And then I pick myself up and get my ass to work.
What are you going to do?
If you’re ready to make changes to your life, and are ready to put the time, effort, and energy in, then =>check out Body Armor…just click here:
