"Working
Class Cardio Workout Success Story (w/pics)"
I've talked about my buddy Aaron before - more than once, actually. Aaron (and his brother Matt) have been loyal customers of mine for quite a while now, and have been doing my workouts steadily for roughly 2 years now. In fact, I think they've done pretty much every workout I've ever done. When I first put together the "Working Class Cardio Workout", I knew that Aaron and Matt would be awesome for this, because I knew they'd not only do the workouts, but they'd put some real effort in. See, Aaron has contacted me several times in the past. Sometimes it's just been to let me know how he's doing and how the workouts are going. Other times it's been because he needed some advice or wanted some input on "tweaking" his workout. Aaron works out in a public gym, and doing a lot of the stuff I prescribe in my workouts... well...it just doesn't always go over real well in public. Big chain gyms aren't real hot on a lot of the stuff we like to do. You know - O-lift variations, move big weights, bodyweight calisthenics, moves like DB snatches and swings...all that kinda stuff. In fact, I remember one story Aaron told me where some of the dudes in his gym thought he was nuts for doing some of the complexes I've prescribed in the past. Well, Aaron didn't give a damn. He just kept working his ass off. And when you work as hard as Aaron (and his bro) do, people can't avoid you forever. They might like to talk smack, but behind closed doors, they're generally jealous of you, because they know you're the one out there kicking ass...and doing more than they could probably do. (I know I've had this happen before. Had a football coach in high school who couldn't stand me because I no longer played football for him, and told everybody his weight training programs sucked. He talked all kinds of smack about me, but in the end, it was me that he was using as an example to his football players on how to train, because I was always in the weight room busting ass, getting bigger and stronger, while his guys just goofed off.) Same thing happened to Aaron. Check out this kick-ass email he just sent me: "Ok so I'm in week 13 of the cardio program. To my utter joy I see 5 rounds of GPP with 30 seconds rest and then 175 medicine ball burpees. I wanted to kill you. Like a good working class follower I completed it as required. Completed each set of the GPP with 10-11 burpees in each set, and then took a min rest in between the GPP and the 175 medicine ball torture burpees. I'm happy to say I was able to complete all 175 in 19:32. The trainer at 24hr fitness just watched me as he was working with a client. When I was done he came over and just shook my hand. Enough said. Best part is I felt like a champ about 2 min after I was done. I think I'm the new gym hard working mascot. Keep it up your programs are the best." 175 Medicine Ball Burpees (where each one includes a pushup and a jump...holding a med ball) in less than 20 mins. And that's after a ton of GPP. Holy cow. And one of the trainers...one of the guy you're supposed to PAY to tell you how to train...is shaking Aaron's hand. Once the guy that everybody talked smack about, wanting to know what all that weird training was he was doing. Now he's getting the respect he really deserves. Yeah...I think Aaron said it best: Enough said. Oh - and before I forget - Aaron sent some "before" and "during" pics not long ago to show off his progress on the workout and from tightening up his diet some. I say "during" because this was "before" the "Working Class Cardio Workout", and "during" because he's still not done with it. So who knows how much better he'll get by the time he's done. "Before" - 190-195 lbs.
"During" - 165 lbs.

"It's
'cardio' that moves you... beyond the boring, sitting there
crap...it's your body in steady motion... burning and shaping..."
Shawn Phillips author, "Strength For Life" creator, "Full Strength" performance nutrition "I have
been a loyal customer of Wiggy's for 2 years now, and I’m so confident
in anything that Wiggy puts out, that I will guarantee you it will work. I’m
in my early 30’s and can honestly say I’m in the best shape of my
life and getting better. The new "Working Class Cardio Workout"
is AWESOME. If you want to get into real shape then look no further. Like any
workout you will only get what you put into it. No, it’s not easy but
you wouldn’t be reading this if you wanted to look like everyone else
at the gym. Like Wiggy always says “Train Hard, Rest Hard, Play Hard”.
So pick it up, do what he says and you to will look better, feel better, and
believe in him like I do. God bless and good luck." "I'm Aaron's
Bonafede little brother, and we have been devout followers of your amazing strength
and conditioning programs for at least two years. They truly have transformed
my body into a work horse of a machine. I am a Firefighter who also does some
Jiu Jitsu on the side. I have been asked/told by more than one person, 'How
are you so strong?' or 'Do you ever get tired?' With the 'cardio workout' theme
I decided to keep the rest (wait there is no time to rest between all of those
wood choppers) to a minimum. By the time I was finished with the first workout,
I had soaked through a shirt and had to answer more questions then normal as
to what exactly I was doing. I knew it was another winner. I am confident this
program will take anybody's cardio and strength to the next level and beyond.
Thanks again for new ass kicking programs." |
